That is such a good point. I did some telemarketing in the beginning of college - not my own product, so much easier to make a "game". I always got a lot more "no's" than "yes's" but I still got enough "yes's" to be at the top of the sales list each day. 

Also - one of our biggest retailers said No way! at first, but I kept going back and they love us and we sell well there.

On the subject of cold calling: I word in sales for quite a few years and even was a trainer.
The most imprtant thing to remember is you have something they can use. Regection is not at you personally. No does not always mean forever.
